NZ is a passionate sporting nation, where everyone has an opinion on how a game was played and how the players performed. Everyone has the right to an opinion, but that doesn’t mean that everyone’s opinions are right. These countless opinions are often shared on social platforms like Twitter and Facebook.
So, we decided that NZ Herald’s Virtual and Fantasy Sport is the perfect platform to put opinions to the test. We hunted down the publicly shared opinions from kiwis that have been proven wrong and encouraged them to test out their opinions using NZ Herald’s Virtual and Fantasy Sport.
We launched with a phone call radio spot, where Charles Piatau called up a non-fan’s opinion.
We also had full page press highlighting authentic opinions that were proven wrong.
